Insulgrease SG146LV is a soft non-toxic, grease-like compound based on a thickened silicone fluid. Insulgrease SG 146LV is chemically inert and is useful as a release agent and offers excellent lubrication on plastic and rubber surfaces. While not designed for bearing surfaces under heavy loads, it will provide good results for light loads. As it is a silicone, the change in its viscosity over a broad temperature range of -40 to 400°F is very low, thus preventing runoff or stiffening to the point of unusability. Insulgrease SG 146LV is non corrosive and oxidation resistant. With high dielectric strength and good hydrolytic stability, it is also water repellent and radiation resistant.

Insulgrease SG 146LV complies with the ANSI/NSF Standard 61 for drinking water system components. The material also meets FDA requirements for food contact uses under 21 CFR 175.300.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:
Insulgrease SG 146LV may be diluted with non-polar solvents for easier application. However, caution must be observed since small amounts of solvent may affect the lubrication performance in high-speed gears or bearings. Clean-up any spills with non-polar solvents such as mineral spirits.

HEALTH CAUTION:
Silicone grease compounds are non-hazardous and practically non-toxic. Avoid prolonged contact with skin; if contact occurs, wash affected areas with soap and water. Avoid contact with eyes. In case of contact with eyes, flush with water for 15 minutes; call a physician.
